Wheelchair Jack

The Wheelchair Jack is a simple and effective design that ensures the safety of both the wheelchair user and the carer when changing wheels. The jack lifts the wheelchair camber bar 330mm off the ground – just the right amount to remain stable while creating an easy ‘pit-stop’ for all needs including changing flat tyres, swapping wheels for different terrain or simply for easy cleaning.

Made from lightweight aluminium, the structurally sound jack fits the most popular size of camber bar (32mm)* and the curved design accommodates common wheelchair attachments such as EZ Lock Wheelchair Locking Systems and/or ZX-1 Power Add-On Devices. The width has been carefully considered to ensure optimal stability across a broad range of wheelchairs including those with wheelie bars.

The length of the handle has been designed with both practicality and ease of use in mind. The leverage created by the handle takes the weight out of the lifting and when lowered to the ground provides the third point of contact making it safe and sturdy. There’s even an oval cut-out so it can be hung for easy storage or users with limited hand function can move it around. Better yet, for travelling purposes, the handle can be detached by removing one bolt so it can fit in a suitcase and you’re away!
